The staff was courteous - we would come here again. Fairly clean, reasonable value hotel, the location was marvellous near to a nice cafe down the road as well as the river. Stayed in deluxe twin room, it was newly renovated and with interesting design. Food was fresh every morning. The breakfast was very very good, the check in was efficient.

The room was good sized and complete with nailed window unable to stop outside wind and comfy beds, for instance. Lovely breakfast for all tastes with the Irish palet and an omelette station, for example...

The accommodation had a very central location in walking distance to the train station. The room of this place was perfect and nice with beds whose bottom sheets did n't fit the bed.

Lovely stuff, gave a lot of information. Had a perfect and exceptionally nice room with with the aircon, a new big lcd TV plus new bathroom for my comfort. Appreciated food selection, meals where cheap and they have plenty of options.

The location was great for walking around Market Square. It took 20 minutes by foot to reach the train station. Enjoyed the way my deluxe room was arranged with comfortable beds as well as potentially killing a child.

The location is marvellous and convenient, not far from the market and downtown of Maastricht as well as the Bassin and Markt, which is a lovely short walk from the Vrijthof. The hotel offers a continental breakfast with an omelette and prosecco and the Irish palet. The staff are incredibly welcoming and always polite.

Great location in the heart of the city, perfect for exploring. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with any questions or requests. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant place to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

There seemed to be a shortage of staff during our stay, resulting in some areas not being properly attended to. The common areas, such as the hallways and tables, were not well maintained or cleaned.

Position/location and good breakfast

Expecting the car to be removed from hotel parking on check out even though many parking bays were still available for new customers and we would have removed the car a few hours later anyway.

My recent stay at Bastion Hotel was enjoyable. The location was great, with easy access to bus stops and shopping areas. I particularly loved the proximity to the city center and the abundance of good food places nearby. The staff were kind and friendly, always making an effort to be helpful.

Location. Bus stop right in front, 5 minutes walk from Markt where the townhall is with restaurants, bars, and, basically, everything.

Staff at the reception upon my arrival was a little bit unfriendly. But I didn't not feel offended. He probably had a bad morning.
